Hello.

Long time no update. 

I’d like to offer my sincere apologies for the prolonged and inadvertent hiatus. I don’t want to get too much into the ‘why’ of it because it is pretty personal, but suffice to say real life got in the way.  Thank you so much to everyone who has continued to support me and patiently awaited updates.

The chapter 2 word count is currently at 4,538, and the total word count for the game is somewhere around the 23,000 mark excluding code. 

I’m aiming to get 4,000 words done per week, with around 10,000 words per chapter. This means chapter 2 may be completed by as early as May, but I’m not going to commit to that just yet! It might take a lot longer depending on my writing and coding pace, beta-testing, and how kindly real life decides to treat me.

Here are some of the things I’m going to implement in future: 

- I’ll be reinstating weekly devlog updates on Patreon (available to the public - you don’t need to be subscribed for these) and Tumblr

- Behind the scenes/extra content will remain on Patreon only and will be uploaded on an adhoc basis

- A “word count” channel has been added to the Vespertines discord, so you can track chapter 2 progress in real time

- My primary goal will be to add to the Vespertines word count, with less focus on additional content or my other projects
